FRIDAY EVENING
8pm Welcome and tournament registration
8.15pm Draw for the CHAMPIONS LEAGUE Group Stages (tournament runs from 8.30pm to approx 10.30pm)
Players drawn into groups (playing each other twice in a Round Robin format)
Top 2 in each group progress to the final stages on Saturday afternoon and 3rd placed players automatically enter the D.U.E.F.A cup at the knockout stage on Saturday afternoon (players placed 4th or below may pay to enter the D.U.E.F.A CUP on Saturday morning)
SATURDAY MORNING
9.30am Tournament registration
9.45am Draw for the D.U.E.F.A. CUP Group Stages (tournament runs from 10am to approx 12pm)
Players drawn into groups (playing each other once in a Round Robin format). Top 3 in each group progress to the knockout stages on Saturday afternoon
SATURDAY AFTERNOON
2pm Knockout stages of the CHAMPIONS LEAGUE and D.U.E.F.A. CUP (both tournaments run from 2pm-approx 5pm)
SUNDAY MORNING
9.30am Tournament registration
9.45am Draw for the LEAGUE CUP (tournament runs from 10am to approx 12pm)
Single elimination straight knockout!
1.30pm Tournament registration
2.45pm Draw for the D.F.A. CUP (tournament runs from 2pm to approx 5pm)
Double elimination. If you lose you go into a separate ‘losers’ knockout competition and the winner of the ‘losers’ side’ plays a ‘first to 2’ sets final against the winner of the ‘winners’ section - who receives a 1 game start to compensate him/her for having reached the final without having lost a single game
SUNDAY EVENING
8pm SUPERCUP (tournament runs from 8pm to approx 9.30pm)
The winners and runners up of each competition play a straight knockout against each other to see who is crowned 2008 UK Dominoes Singles Champion
Quarter Finals:
CHAMPIONS LEAGUE winner v LEAGUE CUP runner up
D.F.A winner v D.U.E.F.A. CUP runner up
LEAGUE CUP winner v CHAMPIONS LEAGUE runner up
D.U.E.F.A. CUP winner v D.F.A. CUP runner up
* in the event of the same player being drawn against themselves (it IS possible!) then that player will automatically progress to the next round.
